| New Additions to Mono-Curve Family Article Date: April, 2003 The Mono-Curve
family, previously consisting of Wayfinder Mono-Curve and Spectra Fascia Curve only, has
recently been extended. With the market for curved-face signage rapidly expanding, Mono-Curve, quality product that it is, is doing good business. With the expansion of the market however comes the inevitable introduction of competing systems designed to under-cut in the price department by cutting corners in construction and design. In order to be able to keep our position in the market secure, we had to come up with a lower cost alternative to Mono-Curve, while still maintaining our high standards (when you purchase from Insight, you will only be quoted for signs that can do the job required: you will not be supplied with a sign, then told to fit steel supports, or add reinforcements). Mini Mono-Curve has been based around a 50 percent scaled down version of Mono-Curve, designed with smaller signs and indoor work in mind, as a more cost-effective complement to the existing Mono-Curve system. Our Mono-Curve patented fixing system is so simple, just flip open the spring-loaded trims (no fixings are visible externally!), loosen the bolts and the curved panel becomes flat and lifts out (and vice versa for fitting). Further variations have been implemented also, in the revolutionary new Mini Mono-Wave (shown above) and Mini Tri-Curve systems, offering the same lightweight yet strong construction, with quality that could not be replicated with fabrication. See the individual product pages for more information and photographs. In addition, a new spring-loaded clic frame has been designed to utilise the Mini Mono trim.
