| Mono-Curve and Fascia Curve Improvements Article Date: August, 2002 Oweing to the popularity with customers of use of acrylic panels for back-lighting with our closely related Fascia-Curve and Mono-Curve (curved-faced, single-sided fascia-mountable, and curved-faced free-standing monolith signs respectively) systems, sevaral refinements were made to each to better cater for this. Tensioning mechanisms have been added to allow transportation with panels laid flat - significantly reducing potential transport problems - and subsequently easier and less time-consuming fitting and curving of the panels. |

| The Mono-Curve extrusion has also been streamlined by
reducing the wall thickness, with strength compensated for by the use of a double-hollow
design, resulting in considerable improvements to the weight and cost of the section.
Provisions have also been added for securing steel base-plates. Fascia-Curve now has more room for wall fixings, or can be retro-fitted on to our standard Spectra signcases for back-lighting (or alternatively, the new T5 lamps can be utilised to illuminated the system without need for a case). |
