Lumirescent Light Strip is a self-adhesive backed, flexible PCB strip housing SMD LEDs (light emitting diodes). It can be used to illuminate anything from a back-lit poster, sign box or built-up lettering, to edge lighting, or even decorative or architectural displays. It can be used in situations where traditionally fluorescent lamps or neon tubes would be used, and due to its flexibility and compact size can also be used in many other unique ways. Running costs are substantially less than fluorescent or neon.
   Lumirescent Light Strip comes in a 5,000 mm long, 8-10 mm wide (depending on specification) strip, backed with 3M VHB self-adhesive tape, wound on a reel. Three specifications are available to suit differing requirements of brightness versus economy, named Medium, Bright and Superbright. The strip can be trimmed to match space requirements, at designated cutting points marked after each group of three LEDs. This, along with the flexible nature of the strip allows it to be used in many more ways than rigid or fixed size systems. It is also possible to have the strip fitted with a silicone sleeve which allows it to be used in exposed situations.
