When you order a Highlight unit from Insight, it will be supplied carefully wrapped in bubble wrap and cardboard, complete with lamps/LEDs (and reflector, if applicable), control gear, diffuser panel, end caps and fixing brackets. In other words, the unit is supplied made up and ready to install, with a rubber grommet 100 mm in from the right hand side (as you look at the unit from the front) through which you connect your mains cable (not supplied) to the connector block inside the unit. For more details on installation see the installation tips page. If your Highlight unit is over 3,600 mm long, it will be delivered in sections, as this is the maximum length our normal carriers can fit in their vehicle. This does not mean that if the unit is in two sections you will have to separate lighting units. The sections interlock to form one continuous unit by means of an extruded aluminium joining section which prevents light spillage at the join.
 
If you wish to have a unit longer than 3,600 mm long in one section, or a very long unit in sections longer than 3,600 mm, we can construct sections up to a maximum of 6,096 mm long to be collected from our factory by your own vehicle or carrier.
